Since 1954, Rooibos Limited has been the preferred supplier of Rooibos to the world. Since its modest beginnings, this company has gained a wealth of experience in the production and development of Rooibos into a wide range of products.
Each year, the management team at Rooibos Limited awards their long-service employees with trophies in appreciation of their dedicated service.
This year, Rooibos Ltd acknowledges 14 employees who have been with the company for at least five years.
“The idea behind the awards is to show our appreciation to our hard-working employees,” Gerda de Wet, Communication Manager at Rooibos Limited, said.
“Long-service awards are important because there is a correlation between a company’s stability and the number of long-serving employees working there. These employees help to carry forward the institutional knowledge of Rooibos Limited. We are proud of them,” De Wet added.
Rooibos Limited has honoured staff who have completed 5, 10, 25, or 30 years of uninterrupted service at their headquarters in Clanwilliam.
Amanda Theron, Company Secretary at Rooibos Limited, has been with the company since 1990 – an incredible 30 years.
Employees who have been with Rooibos Limited for 25 years include Charmaine Arangie, Laboratory Assistant of the Quality Control Division; Herman Kotzé, Quality Controller of the Quality Control Division; Pieter Brandt, Operator of the Processing Division and Shafiek Boer, Team Leader of the Packaging Division.
Mthuthuele Ndlebe and Zolisa Funani, Operators of the Green Rooibos Processing division have been with the company for 10 years.
Andriëtte Muller, HR Manager; Danie Peens, Senior Maintenance Officer; Gerhard Kotze, Operator of the Processing Division; Jakob Louw, Maintenance Officer; Marcello Coetzee, Maintenance Officer; Petrus Jansen, Research Assistant of the Technical Division and William Swarts, Operator of the Processing Division, have been with the company for five years.
